MMDM, Majorettes Meet Drum Majors is a group comprised of premier dancers with an intensive marching auxiliary background. The purpose of MMDM is to motivate and recruit students for higher education, and entertainment. This venture started as a mere audition for Brandi Williams, and resulted as a captivating, yet highly recommended performance duo with Dexter Burton. Performing to the song "Crazy In Love" by Beyoncé Knowles reached the desk of Mathew Knowles, who motivated Brandi Williams with the courage to expand this project."It was a Superior Job", Knowles stated. Knowles granted Brandi Williams a "Crazy in Love" Music Gratis License to use this song as the duo performs. With Williams and Burton being the greatest in this field of entertainment, they have collaborated and created a world changing experience through Baton Twirling, Dance, and Entertainment. The slogan, "I Mean You Better Hit©, created by Dexter Burton, is the motivating motto. It inspires the duo in performances and in their education. Greater Houston All Star Band (GHASB)
Vc currently did the new logo for the Greater Houston All Star Band.
The Greater Houston All Star Band, Inc. (GHASB) is a Texas (501c3) non-profit organization formed to empower youth through musicianship, character development, team building, and physical fitness. The band was founded in the summer of 2001 as a response to the reduction of financial support for fine arts departments within school systems. The Greater Houston All Star band prides itself in providing a “first class” band camp experience to economically challenged, yet deserving youth. The band’s greatest desire is to advance and improve the quality of music education through the use of certified and/or professionally trained/experienced instructors and clinicians. The Greater Houston All Star Band aspires to be the artistic portal that gives “At-risk” students in the Harris county and surrounding areas, the opportunity to attend a quality band camp that not only helps to restore in-depth instrumental music education, but also increases awareness about the importance of music as an important component in the complete education of students. To induce/foster a college bound culture, The Greater Houston All Star Band seeks to host its camp on and/or near a college campus.
